Now badly needed by the Food Bank: donations of dried and tinned potatoes, tinned tomatoes, sponge and rice puddings, sardines and cartons of UHT milk and long-life fruit juice. Thank you for your generosity.

Confirmation: Bishop Robert will be present to celebrate the Sacrament of Confirmation on Thursday 14 February at 7pm, followed by refreshments in the school hall.

If you are celebrating a particular milestone marriage anniversary this year or are newly married or preparing to marry in 2019 you are invited to a special Mass at St Chad’s Cathedral on 3 February at 11.00am, celebrated by Archbishop Bernard. Produce & Gift Stall: Sunday 3 March 2019 after 10 am Mass in the Wulstan Hall. This will have the theme of ‘Mother’s Day & Easter’. Gifts, plants and produce to reflect this theme will be on sale. To enable us to prepare as much as possible in advance, should you have any unwanted Christmas Presents or toiletries etc or would like to donate chocolate eggs, mini or otherwise, please leave them in the box at the back of church marked “Produce/Gifts”.

There will be Gifts, Produce, Plant Stall, Raffle and a game for the children. Thank you for your support.

Invitation: If you are someone who is a member of our parish family but not a Catholic and thinking about becoming one, or if you are an adult who has never been confirmed please have a word with Christine, Deacon Pat or Fr John after Mass today.

DIY: If you are a dab hand at DIY and could offer a couple of hours to do some odd jobs around the church please see Deacon Pat or Christine. Nothing too complicated.
