New items needed by the Food Bank Donations of soap powder (small boxes only please), washing-up liquid and household spray cleaners as well as dried and tinned potatoes, tinned tomatoes, sponge and rice puddings, sardines and cartons of UHT milk and long-life fruit juice would be gratefully received. Thank you for your generosity.

Confirmation: Bishop Robert will be present to celebrate the Sacrament of Confirmation on Thursday 14 February at 7pm, followed by refreshments in the school hall. Please pray for all our candidates as they continue their preparation. Take a look at the prayers the confirmation candidates have written. They are displayed on the board at the back of the church.

ACES is planting a tree in the school grounds as a way of remembering all that the school has done to support the charity over the years and to say ‘thank you’. All are welcome to attend the planting which takes place on Thursday 14 February at 11.00am.

Parish Lunch will take place at The Star in Bridge Street on Wednesday 27 -February at 12.30. Menu and Sign-up sheet at the back of church. Cost £14.95 for two courses and coffee. All welcome.

Mary’s Meals The UK Government has promised to match £1 for every £1 received by this Catholic Charity (set up to feed children with a daily meal when they turn up for school in Zambia) until 1 March 2019. Produce & Gift Stall: Sunday 3 March 2019 after 10 am Mass in the Wulstan Hall. This will have the theme of ‘Mother’s Day & Easter’. Gifts, plants and produce to reflect this theme will be on sale. To enable us to prepare as much as possible in advance, should you have any unwanted Christmas Presents or toiletries etc or would like to donate chocolate eggs, mini or otherwise, please leave them in the box at the back of church marked “Produce/Gifts”.

There will be Gifts, Produce, Plant Stall, Raffle and a game for the children. Thank you for your support.

Invitation: If you are someone who is a member of our parish family but not a Catholic and thinking about becoming one, or if you are an adult who has never been confirmed please have a word with Christine or Deacon Pat after Mass today.

DIY: If you are a dab hand at DIY and could offer a couple of hours to do some odd jobs around the church please see Deacon Pat or Christine. Nothing too complicated.
