Confirmation: Bishop Robert will be present to celebrate the Sacrament of Confirmation on Thursday this week at 7pm, followed by refreshments in the school hall. If you are coming, please park in the school playground if at all possible.Take a look at the prayers the confirmation candidates have written. They are displayed on the board at the back of the church.
ACES is planting a tree in the school grounds as a way of remembering all that the school has done to support the charity over the years and to say ‘thank you’. All are welcome to attend the planting which takes place on Thursday 14 February at 11.00am.
Date for your diary: Tuesday 12 March. This is the day when we shall have our first big tidy up of the grounds. Please come and lend a hand if at all possible. Time to be announced.
New Items needed by the Food Bank: donations of soap powder (small boxes only please), washing-up liquid and household spray cleaners as well as dried and tinned potatoes, tinned tomatoes, sponge and rice puddings, sardines and cartons of UHT milk and long-life fruit juice. Thank you for your generosity.

Mary’s Meals: This Catholic Charity began in 2002 in Malawi, feeding 200 children. It now provides over a million children with a daily meal at school in 15 countries around the world. Produce & Gift Stall Sunday 3 March after Mass in the Wulstan Hall. This will have the theme of ‘Mother’s Day & Easter’. Please leave suitable items for this theme in the basket at the back of church marked “Produce/Gifts”. On the day there will be gifts, produce, plant stall, raffle and a game for the children. Thank you for your support.
Next Sunday there will be a short meeting over coffee in the hall for those who have let us know that they are interested in becoming a Catholic or who are Catholics who have not been confirmed Not too late to let us know!
If you think you would like to try your hand at flower arranging now is your chance. You don’t have to be an expert. Help can be given to get you going if you are a bit under-confident or not sure what to do. The parish pays for flowers (up to an agreed limit) and there is plenty of greenery around.
