This week: second collection for Day for Life. A Day for Life is celebrated annually by the Catholic Church and is dedicated to raising awareness about the meaning and value of human life at all stages and in every condition. The proceeds of the Day for Life collection held in parishes will be used for the promotion of the dignity of the human person. We welcome applications from projects especially those working with victims and survivors of domestic abuse. A leaflet is available from the back of church — please take one.
The first of the monthly afternoon teas took place on Friday afternoon. The event went really well and was much appreciated. Thanks to everyone who helped in whatever way.
Garden maintenance: there will be a working party on Tuesday 25 June at 10.30am. If you can snip, sweep, hoe or dig we need you! Please come along and help if you can.

Coming to Birmingham: The Slipper Chapel statue of Our Lady of Walsingham along with the Dowry Tour Exhibition will visit St Chad’s Cathedral from 20–22 June. Events are taking place all day, every day. Please see the poster at the back of church for details.

We have emergency lights plugged into various sockets in church. These come on in the event of a power cut — please do not turn them off or fiddle with them!! Thank you.
Tom Sawyer: the school production of Tom Sawyer takes place at Number 8 on Tuesday 16 & Wednesday 17 July at 7.00pm. Tickets: £8, (£5 for under 16s). Please do come along and support the event if you possibly can.
